Allen Chen

Born in Taiwan and moved to Los Olivos, California at age 12. Allen Chen earned a BFA from San Jose State University and an MFA from the University of Notre Dame. He was a Resident Artist at Mendocino Art Center (2009), Red Lodge Clay Center (2010), and Lawrence Arts Center (2011). Allen was an Assistant Professor of Ceramics at Central State University from 2012-2014 and is currently an Associate Professor of Ceramics at The University of Southern Mississippi.
